| opmerkingen | Hand-caught depleted bird (bird died on November 7, 1968; NMR collection), During a snowstorm, February 1962, Mr. J. van Werven, Overijsselsestraat 85a, Rotterdam-Zuid, found a strange bird in his aviary. The bird was wet, exhausted and cold and could easily be caught. Until November 7, 1968 this bird lived in Mr. Van Werven's aviary; on that day the bird died and was presented to the Blijdorp Zoo for identification. Here he was determined as a Junco hyemalis. | |
