|opmerkingen||24-26 October, Vlieland, Friesland, photographed (L Buckx et al; Ebels et al 2013b; Dutch Birding 35: 426, plate 551-552, 2013); This bird, and the other records in 2013, constituted the second to seventh records, and were part of an influx into north-western Europe, with several being recorded in Belgium, Britain and Denmark, one in Germany and the first for Poland (van den Berg & Haas 2013). The first record was on Vlieland, Friesland, on 20-21 October 2006. A further eight reports were considered not acceptable, because of the difficulties to rule out Common Swift A apus; distinguishing these sibling species requires high-quality photographs.
