| opmerkingen | 15 October, Hoek van Holland, Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, photographed (P Soer, J Koops; Dutch Birding 33: 425, plate 578, 2011). The bird at Hoek van Holland was photographed exceptionally well perching on the blocks of a pier with no shrubs or other vegetation to hide in. Only the photographer and his companion were lucky enough to see it. It was one of only two out of 32 that were not trapped in a mistnet (the other one was on 18 September 1994 on Vlieland, Friesland). Annual Report 2011. | |
