| opmerkingen | 31 May to 29 July, Schiermonnikoog, Friesland, maximum of three adults (on 5-11 June) and three juveniles (one juvenile ringed at Groene Glop, Schiermonnikoog, on 29 July), singing, photographed, sound-recorded, videoed (D Beukers, E B Ebels, M Berlijn et al; Ebels 2003; Dutch Birding 25: 278, plate 312, 305, plate 335-336, 2003). The first breeding record and the most westerly breeding of the species so far was fully documented by Ebels (2003); three young were successfully raised, one of which was trapped at a different location on the island during the days when the family split up.
