|coördinaten||N 52.03857 O 5.7438|
|aantal, kleed||1, mannetje|
|status||Aanvaard, gepubliceerd in jaarverslag CDNA|
|waarnemer(s)||D. Groenendijk, A. Heeres et al|
|opmerkingen||23-27 May, Noord-Ginkel, Ede, Gelderland, singing, sound-recorded (D Groenendijk et al). Only the song was recorded and the bird was not heard calling. Songs of both Western Bonelli's Warbler P bonelli and Eastern Bonelli's Warbler P orientalis are superficially similar and more research is needed to draw any conclusions about the species concerned. In the meantime, it is vital for acceptance to document the diagnostic call. Totals exclude birds accepted to species level [Annual Report 2007]. Two sound-recordings of singing males bonelli's warbler P bonelli/orientalis from 2004 and 2006 were confirmed as Western Bonelli's Warbler based on the song differences with Eastern Bonelli's Warbler P orientalis described by Groenendijk & Luijendijk (2011). [Annual Report 2011].|
