Spring is the best time for this species. Except for two very old specimens (December 1883 and April 1901), three males were found in the 1990s: in May 1992, April 1994 and March 1995. This female was the first that could be seen by many birders. It stayed for most of the day at a derelict campsite just behind the sea-dike. Annual Report 2011.
