opmerkingen	photographed (Dutch Birding 42: 294, plate 384-385, 2020). This new species was found by two wardens that spent months in isolation on this restricted Wadden Sea island while doing bird-related research. While celebrating their incredible find with a drink at their cabin, they also picked up the 13th Slender-billed Gull. It only very rarely happens that observers find two rarities in a single day but finding two species recorded less than 10 times including a new one for the country is unprecedented.
